Who are the Fur Friends?

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here!

My name is Jo and I’m a veterinarian with a passion for helping people and their pets live happy, healthy and truly fulfilling lives together.

Creature Clinic is my happy place.

It’s where I can connect with a growing community of animal lovers from all over the globe and from all walks of life.  Sometimes it’s a place to share veterinary advice, while other times it’s somewhere to share a story about one of my very special patients or my own mischievous furkids.

If you would like to read more tales and tips from an animal-crazy veterinarian, please join my mailing list.

Hi Jo, I was drawn to Creature Clinic because you seemed genuinely passionate about encouraging a healthier and happier lifestyle for dogs and their owners. This is also the driving force behind my campaign, 100 happy doggy days. I’m looking to garner support from prominent pet bloggers, particularly one’s focused on pet health. 100 happy doggy days is a campaign that aims to raise awareness of the importance of walking one’s dog on a daily basis. Research found many dog owners are neglecting their dog’s fitness, with 23% of dog owners in Australia saying they didn’t walk their dog at all! This obviously leads to several mental and physical health problems and can be seen to contribute largely to the public pet health crisis - with 40% of Australian dogs and cats classified overweight or obese. 100 happy doggy days is a dog owner’s commitment to walk their dog 100 days in a row and share their experiences online using the hash-tag #100happydoggydays. We’re on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Check out our blog here: http://100happydoggydays.wordpress.com/

      Hi Brigitte,
I think your idea is wonderful and the only bad thing about it is that I didn’t come up with it myself! People love a challenge and this is something so achievable with so much potential benefit. I’d love to hear more. Let me know how I can help at vet@creatureclinic.com
      Thanks for visiting my blog!
