Who are the Fur Friends?
Hello! I’m so glad you’re here!
My name is Jo and I’m a veterinarian with a passion for helping people and their pets live happy, healthy and truly fulfilling lives together.
Creature Clinic is my happy place.
It’s where I can connect with a growing community of animal lovers from all over the globe and from all walks of life. Sometimes it’s a place to share veterinary advice, while other times it’s somewhere to share a story about one of my very special patients or my own mischievous furkids.
If you would like to read more tales and tips from an animal-crazy veterinarian, please join my mailing list.
What’s in it for YOU?
I’m really glad you asked! Right now it is totally free to subscribe and get a little present in your inbox every time a new (and quite frankly, awesome) post goes live. There are also some exciting e-books on pet care by yours truly in the pipeline that will be available free only to subscribers.
I can’t wait to share my knowledge and experience with you so we can work together to ensure happiness and good health for as many pets out there as possible. If you’d like to check out some of my previous posts,
- how about some tips on socializing your new puppy?
- Or helpful hints on managing a cat that pees in the house?
- Do you need some ideas for preparing pets for the arrival of a new baby?
- And did you know that when dogs are just ‘getting old‘ there is likely more to it, and there are some simple things you can do to improve their quality of life?
My consult door is always open.
I am delighted when people take the time and effort to offer me feedback or request information or advice. The more you guys keep in touch the better I can meet your needs. Thank you so much for stopping by, I genuinely appreciate each and every one of you.
If you think you’d like to become a Fur Friend and join our pawesome little group of pet people, it’s as simple as joining my mailing list. I promise I will never forward your details to a third party or send you anything spammy. If you ever change your mind, it’s very easy to opt out.
Don’t Really Like Emails?
If you use a feed reader, here’s my RSS. I would also do a super happy fun dance if you decided to connect with me on Facebook or Twitter.

Hi Jo, I was drawn to Creature Clinic because you seemed genuinely passionate about encouraging a healthier and happier lifestyle for dogs and their owners. This is also the driving force behind my campaign, 100 happy doggy days. I’m looking to garner support from prominent pet bloggers, particularly one’s focused on pet health. 100 happy doggy days is a campaign that aims to raise awareness of the importance of walking one’s dog on a daily basis. Research found many dog owners are neglecting their dog’s fitness, with 23% of dog owners in Australia saying they didn’t walk their dog at all! This obviously leads to several mental and physical health problems and can be seen to contribute largely to the public pet health crisis - with 40% of Australian dogs and cats classified overweight or obese. 100 happy doggy days is a dog owner’s commitment to walk their dog 100 days in a row and share their experiences online using the hash-tag #100happydoggydays. We’re on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Check out our blog here: http://100happydoggydays.wordpress.com/

I think your idea is wonderful and the only bad thing about it is that I didn’t come up with it myself! People love a challenge and this is something so achievable with so much potential benefit. I’d love to hear more. Let me know how I can help at email@example.com
Thanks for visiting my blog!
